FEBE
v3.0 is currently in development. New features and a lot of enhancements including the options of
backing up/restoring:
- Bookmarks
- Preferences
- Cookies
- User Chrome
- User Content
- Usernames and passwords
- Security certificates
- Search plug-ins
- Browser history
- Form fill history
There will also be an option to backup/restore the entire profile to
make synchronizing two or more FX browsers easy and painless.
Two other new options will allow FEBE to erase the backup
destination directory prior to a backup, and the ability to create
"timestamped" sub-directories that will place the backups in a new
directory each time FEBE is executed. This will allow you to go "back
in time" and restore Firefox as it was at a particular moment in the
past.
I am also trying to get rid of the "wscript.exe"
dependency so that I
can port FEBE to Linux and OS X.
